The Baltic Mini #Textile Gdynia exhibition is organised every three years by the Gdynia City Museum to present the works of professional artists from Poland and abroad.
The competition is a survey of contemporary practice in the field of textile miniatures made in various techniques, for which the 50 best works are selected.
The theme of this year’s competition is COMMUNITY.
Baltic Mini Textile Gdynia (formerly the International Baltic Triennial of Miniature Textiles in Gdynia) is the youngest of the four major exhibitions of woven miniatures in Europe. However, it has already developed its own position and significance. It can be compared with other prestigious international competitions in Szombathely (Hungary), Angers (France) and Como (Italy).
A total of 294 works were submitted for the 13th Baltic Mini Textile Gdynia 2025. The entries came from 178 artists from 36 countries. The exhibition will show 50 of the most interesting works selected by the competition jury.
