Nature Art Cube Exhibition
The Korean Nature Art Association “YATOO(野投)” is an art organization,
founded in 1981, which has developed as a field-oriented nature art movement focusing on free expressions with installations, drawings, and performances. It is an art organization that has a clear history and identity with the concept of nature. That we should adhere to the order of nature and try to harmonize with it. Yatoo tries to express such a conception through various means of modern visual art.
The Geumgang Nature Art Biennale is an important event of the YATOO nature art movement,
which has a 40-year history. The Biennale is a global project of Korean and foreign nature artists, and the forms and contents of the Biennale have grown in importance over time.
The Nature Art Cube Exhibition ’12×12×12+Nature’ of Geumgang Nature Art Biennale is designed for artists to put their ideas about nature and their expression style in a fixed cube of 12 cm width, length and height. The Nature Art Cube Exhibition, launched since 2017 as part of the nature art movement, is an event where nature artists from around the world can share their artistic messages about nature.
Pollution, ecological disruption, abnormal climate and global warming,
that we are currently experiencing, are global problems that all people in the world should face and find solutions to. In addition, the rapid development of digital culture is making people more and more isolated from each other and making it more and more difficult to communicate with each other.
